Climbing

this blog entry is a tribute to joe, whose blog entries are always laundry lists of events.

-climbed my first 11a (black monday) with chris
-went on a ride up big cottonwood canyon
-had beers with dave, julie, billy and christy
-let billy take the bike for a spin
-went to misty's goodbye party
-got stood up by emily --sad face--
-smoked n drank
-bought beer for lauren, brad and john
-drank said beer @ misty's going away party
-got higher
-said goodbye to misty

ok i can't help but elaborate on that last one. Mistique... the girl that has been talking about her trip for like years... is actually LEAVING on her trip in like 12 hours. I'm gonna miss her, but the adventure that awaits her is worth my discomfort. I promised her i would come out for a week. Now i just have to figure out how to make that a reality.

So Dave Farmer called tonite and told me he wants to go ice climbing tomorrow in Big Cottonwood. I've never been before but he says it should be a good time, so off i go tomorrow at 10am. If i don't write back here in the next week about how good it was, you can all start fighting over the switch.

I don't regret the things i've done, but those i didn't do.
